Mrs. Wm. J. Little of Shelburne announces the engagement of her youngest daughter, Hazel C., to Ivan E. Gamble, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. J. Gamble of Moose Jaw, Sask., the marriage to take place in March.

Shelburne Free Press - March 29, 1917 - MARRIED:
A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized at 3.00 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, March 14th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Small, 5 Osler ave., Toronto, when their cousin, Miss Hazel C. Little, youngest daughter of Mrs. W. J. Little of Shelburne, became the bride of Ivan E. Gamble of Moose Jaw, Sask., formerly of Mono Centre. Rev. A. J. Reid, rector of St. Mark's church, officiated. They will reside at Moose Jaw, Sask.

Shelburne Free Press & Economist - October 4, 1961 - DIED IN THE WEST:
A well-known resident of Parkbeg, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 18th, 1961, in the person of Mrs. Hazel Gamble, in her 66th year. She was the youngest daughter of William James and Caroline Little.

Mrs. Gamble was born at Dundalk and moved to the Primrose district as a small child. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church and attended Mono Dell public school.

In 1917 she married Ivan Gamble of the Mono Centre district and moved as a bride to Spring Valley. In 1923 they moved to Parkbeg, where they farmed and operated a gas station and made many close friends.

She was a member of the Anglican Women's Auxiliary of Mortlack and a past member of the Royal Purple Lodge.

Mrs. Gamble is survived by her husband, Ivan; three sons, Arthur, of Mortlack; Wyman, of Vancouver, B.C., and Tom. of Oxbow; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Peterson (Iona) and Mrs. Clarence Reynolds (Audrey), both of Aldergrove, B.C.; and twelve grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Gibson Richardson (Millie), of Shelburne, Ontario; two brothers, Robert John and Albert Little, both of Mono predeceased her.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Gamble spent two months last winter in this district visiting with their many friends and relatives.

The largely attended funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st, in the Broadfoot Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw.
