GAMBLE, Thomas John Tom entered into rest on August 31, 2014. He was born Oct. 11th, 1932 in Parkbeg, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Hazel and Iven Gamble. He was predeceased by his parents and all 4 siblings. He married Anne Fast on Oct. 5, 1957 in Regina, Sask. He is survived by his wife Anne and two sons, Brandt, West Sacramento and Jason (Heidi), of LA. and his two granddaughters Hannah and Madeleine. He was a 54 year member of Boscurvis Masonic Lodge #39, AF&AM in Oxbow, Sask., a member of Scepter Masonic Lodge #143, F&AM, West Sacramento. He was a Past Patron of Delta Star Chapter # 639 OES, West Sacramento, and a Grand Representative of Sask. in Calif. 2001-2003. He was a member of Westminster Presb. Church, and the Stowaways, a church fellowship group. A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 11th @ 2 pm in Westminster Presbyterian Church 1300 - N Street, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425- Stockton Blvd. Sacramento 95817, or Grand Chapter of Calif. (J.C. Lee Cancer Fund)

The Leader Post - Oct 16, 1957 - page 6 October Wedding The wedding took place on Oct. 5 at Westminster United church in Regina of Miss Anne Frances Fast and Thomas J. Gamble. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter G. Fast of Boissevain, Man and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E. Gamble of Parkbeg, Sask. Rev. W.S. Poulton officiated and Mrs. Leola Mars was organist. Miss Doris Bennett was soloist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor-length gown of imported nylon net, featuring inserts of Chantilly lace over white Duchess satin. The neckline was edged in pearls accenting the fitted bodice which was styled with a net yoke outlined with scallops of lace. Her chapel veil of while illusion net misted from a sequin-trimmed headdress encrusted with rhinestones and she carried a cascade bouquet of red roses.
Attendants were Miss Marlene Tucker and David Engle. Ushers were Arthur Gamble and Joe Eaton.
A reception was held in the banquet room at the Hunt club and following a wedding trip to Vancouver and the United States, Mr. and Mrs. Gamble will reside at Oxbow, Sask. from year CHAN: _WT_USER phild
