ELGIE, Barbara Jean
Passed away peacefully at Shelburne Residence on August 19th, 2016. Barbara Jean McCutcheon in her 84th year; cherished wife of Wallace for 64 years. Loving Mother of Gwen Henry (1993) , Nancy Conner (Gord), Larry (Julie) and John (Barb). Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great grandmother of 11. Barbara Jean will be sadly missed by her sister in law Myrtle McCutcheon and son in law Jim Henry (Bonnie). She is pre deceased by her parents Graham and Dorothy McCutcheon and her brothers Bill and Don; and brother in law Allan Elgie (Joan). Barbara Jean will be fondly remembered many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Barbara Jean's Life will be held at the Shelburne Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 220, Shelburne, Ontario on Tuesday August 23rd from 1pm-5pm. There will be a private graveside committal service at a later date.

Barbara married Wallace Little Elgie, son of John Herbert Elgie and Violet Ann Buchanan, on 15 Sep 1951 in Shelburne, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada. (Wallace Little Elgie was born on 4 Dec 1925 and died on 12 Jul 2021 in Orangeville, Ontaio, Canada.)
