Shelburne Free Press & Economist - October 26, 1955 - RENNICK-BUCHANAN: Autumn flowers, pink and white streamers and wedding bell provided a season setting in the home on Oct. 8th 1955, for the wedding of Patricia Rose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Buchanan and Donald Edward, son of Mrs. Rennick and the late Mr. John Rennick and the late Mr. John Rennick. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H.O. Honigisto, at high noon and Mrs. Frank Turner played the wedding march.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white nylon lace over bridal satin. It was fashioned with a bouffant skirt with ruffles of silver sequins and a long sleeved fitted jacket with collar of pearl and sequins. Her finger tip veil was of sheer illusion with embroidered floral design and was caught with a coronet of satin and net with Lilly of the valley. She carried a cascade bouquet of ret roses and white mums, with satin streamers, Miss Norma Buchanan attended here sister as bridesmaid, wearing a waltz length dress of deep coral net over taffeta. She wore gold velvet hat with accessories to match and carried white and yellow 'mums.
Mr. Gordon Rennick attended his brother as groomsman. A wedding breakfast was served to the immediate families and close friends. The bride's mother received her guest in a crepe and lace gown of Empire blue with black accessories and corsage of pink carnations. The groom's mother chose navy sheer dress with navy accessories and also wore pink carnations.
For their wedding trip through Ontario Northland the bride wore a beige wool dress with dark brown velvet hat and accessories to match and corsage of yellow carnations. Upon their return home they will reside on the groom's farm, at Farmington.
Shelburne Free Press & Economist - September 19, 1973 - Front Page - ACCIDENTS CLAIM THREE LOCAL PEOPLE: Mrs. Donald Rennick (nee Pat Buchanan) was fatally injured in a two-car collision on Highway 10 about 1 1/2 miles below Primrose on Monday night September 17. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Buchanan of 2nd Ave., Shelburne.
Mr. Rennick is in an extremely critical condition in the Toronto General Hospital. The three children in the Rennick car have also been injured and are in hospital.
Only two were in the Bowler car - Mrs. Carol Bowler and son Kevin. Both mother and son have received serious injury and are hospitalized. Mrs. Bowler is the only daughter of Mrs. Harvey Fraser.

Shelburne Free Press & Economist - October 17, 1973 - Page 9 - PATRICIA ROSE RENNICK: On September 17, 1973, in Queensway Hospital, Toronto, the death occurred of Patricia Rose Rennick from the result of a motor accident near Shelburne.
Born in Mono Township on September 27, 1937 she was the eldest daughter of George and Elva Buchanan and received her education at Primrose and Gleno Public Schools and Shelburne High School.
She taught at S.S. no. 11, Elder in Mono Township for two years and on October 8, 1955 married Donald Edward Rennick and they resided at Farmington, later moving to Zina St., Orangeville and finally to Dowling Cres., Bramalea. At the time of her death she was employed as payroll clerk at Carrier Air Conditioning of Canada.
Left to mourn her loss are her husband Donald, sons John Leslie and Donald George, daughter Sherry Louise, her parents, sisters Norma and Lynne and brothers Douglas and Alan.
The funeral from The Gamble Funeral Home in Shelburne was conducted by her pastor Rev. C. M. Casterus of Bramalea Presbyterian Church of which she was a member.
The pallbearers were Wallace and Allan Elgie, Herbert and Glen Fines, Danny Rennick and Paul Brown. The beautiful floral tributes were carried by Cathie and Philip Horner, Cathy and Ricky Fines, Kit Rennick and Sandra Turner and were a mute testimony to the esteem with which she was held.
A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Pat will be long remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.
